Day 1 – Travel to West Monroe, NY
ME Magnified begins with a trip back home, time with my parents and family and reconnecting with high school classmates at our 35th class reunion!
Yesterday as I was preparing to leave I felt an overwhelming feeling of freedom. I found myself smiling uncontrollably as I looked forward to what is to come. I’m happy to be unattached.
Packing the car I felt I would never be the same almost like leaving my old self/life behind and moving forward – a rebirth – going into the world as a new version of ME. Tears spilled from my eyes numerous times before finally closing the door. I’m not able to identify the emotions, I just allow them to come and go.
